The Chocolaterie’s online customer service begins from the moment you place your order. We take great care to package and ship your gift items inside protective insulated shipping materials so they will arrive safely at any time of year. In warmer months when weather conditions require extra care, we may also enclose cold packs or other climate controlled packaging. Upon request, we will include a Chocolaterie gift card with your personal message. However, if for any reason your order does not meet with your satisfaction, simply return it to us for a prompt, courteous replacement, exchange or refund.

We want your gift from The Chocolaterie to arrive in perfect condition. To help ensure the highest quality, all orders must be received by 2:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Wednesday to allow up to 24 hours for order processing and to ensure delivery no later than the morning following our shipment day. We do not ship for Saturday, Sunday, or Monday arrivals. Because our hand made chocolates are fresh and contain no preservatives, they should be stored at 68-70 degrees Fahrenheit (keep out of direct sunlight) and consumed within 20 days of the date on the box.

We will ship only to complete, valid street addresses (sorry, no P.O. Boxes) in the U.S. At this time, we do not ship internationally, including to Canada or Mexico. Suite or apartment numbers must be specified where applicable to ensure proper delivery. Please review your order carefully prior to submission, as we cannot be responsible shipping errors due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

We require a signature for all deliveries. The recipient must be available to receive and sign for the order. Specifically, the recipient must be present at home if delivery is to a residential address or present in an office or other environmentally protected area if delivery to office or commercial address. If the recipient has a signature release waiver on file, we will not be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to items ordered. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ascertain whether such signature releases are on file prior to ordering, as we are not responsible for damaged packages if the recipient is unavailable to properly receive and sign for them.

We are not responsible for shipping delays while your product is in transit due to weather, strike, mechanical failure, or circumstances beyond our control. Please note all pricing is subject to change, depending on the time of year, as well as weight and location.

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated when you place your order. Because freshness is critical, we only ship via Federal Express using overnight delivery by noon.
